Snow Parking Information

A CALL FOR COMMUNITY COOPERATION

The Eagle Police Department is looking forward to cooperation from all of the residents in the Eagle Ranch Village Homes area to comply with the Town's Ordinance regarding the parking of vehicles on the street during a snow event (see language below). The law is specific and self -explanatory; however should you have any questions you may call 970-479-2200 and ask to speak to an officer with Eagle Police Department.

The below restrictions are in effect if two (2) or more inches of un-drifted snow accumulates and is in effect for seventy-two (72) hours after the snowfall ends.

  1. No parking on the odd-numbered side of the street on odd calendar days and there is no parking on the even side of the street on even calendar days.
  2. Restrictions are in place from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm.

All of the streets in the Eagle Ranch Neighborhood District are designated Emergency Snow Routes except Capitol Street. Further, all Emergency Snow Routes follow the odd/even schedule except for Eagle Ranch Road south of Sylvan Lake Road (by the Brush Creek Elementary School). For this section, no parking is allowed on either side of the street during snow events.

Our intention is for all residents to be conscientious about complying with the Odd-Even parking restrictions during snow events, however, the Town of Eagle is prepared to ticket vehicles/owners, or tow/impound vehicles at the owner’s expense that are deemed to be interfering with snow removal operations.

Your safety is our primary concern. It is essential that the fire equipment, emergency medical vehicles, snow plows, and police are able to safely negotiate the narrow streets in your neighborhood.

We thank you for your efforts and cooperation to make this program successful!!
