ReCode Eagle: Land Use and Development Code Update
The Town of Eagle is undergoing a comprehensive update to the Land Use and Development Code (zoning and subdivision regulations) for the first time since 1976, when the LUDC was first adopted. This community-based effort will be focused on preparing a code that implements the goals and policies of the 2020 Elevate Eagle Comprehensive Plan, updates the current regulations to reflect community development preferences, and is more efficient and user-friendly.
The intention from the Town is to enable and allow for more competition in the broadband market serving the Town of Eagle. The Broadband committee was formed with the purpose of: • To help the Town by being a sounding board for broadband solutions both public and private • To assist with the feasibility study conducted by Uptown Services • To provide local expertise in the process, recommendations to the board and implementing solutions
Grand Avenue Corridor Plan
The Grand Avenue Corridor Plan is a transformational long-term public project that aims to improve mobility across Town, establish a strong sense of place and identity, and create interconnectivity between the major destinations within walking distance of the downtown commercial core. Town of Eagle 2021 Community Survey
In early 2021, the Town of Eagle conducted a comprehensive survey of its residents. The published results provide new insight on what community members believe make Eagle great, where we have opportunities to improve, and the scope of challenges ahead. Open Space and Trails Master Plan
Adopted by the Town of Eagle Town Council in July 2022, the OSTMP identifies a vision and goals to preserve and enhance the valued qualities related to trails and accessible open space that supports important wildlife habitat. The plan will serve as a guide for the the Town's Open Space and Trails department for the next decade.
The Town of Eagle celebrates and preserves a unique connection with our environment by minimizing growth impacts to our water and wildlife resources. The Town is committed to supporting and demonstrating sustainable initiatives within the organization and throughout our community.
Traffic Calming and Pedestrian Improvement Project
The Town is developing a plan for traffic calming and pedestrian improvements along Sylvan Lake Road between Gamble Street and Eagle Ranch Road. This plan aims to increase driver awareness and to prioritize safety for the community.
