UPDATED LAND USE AND DEVELOPMENT CODE:

The Town of Eagle has undergone a comprehensive update to the Land Use and Development Code. On August 8, 2023, Eagle Town Council approved the Comprehensive Plan and Development Code Update which became effective on October 23, 2023. For more information please visit the updated webpage HERE

The Planning & Zoning Department works to provide safe, efficient and orderly development within the Town of Eagle, while also striving to enhance and maintain the natural and social environment. We are a public organization that puts customer service first by utilizing motivated professionals who contribute toward shaping the Town of Eagle as a community of choice.

We provide guidance and technical expertise to assist Town Council, the Planning & Zoning Commission, public agencies, and citizens in understanding key community issues and priorities.

Our efforts are focused on a long-term commitment to economic vitality, environmental quality, and development design quality.

The Planning & Zoning Department provides assistance in many areas, including but not limited to the following:

  • Zoning regulations and land use questions
  • Development permits for land uses and new construction
  • Long-range planning and community development projects
  • Subdivisions
  • Annexation requests

Please contact the Town Clerk and the Planning Department before starting a business. At a minimum, new businesses require a business license, and possibly sign permit approval and change of use approval.
