Net Zero Goals

To reflect the town's priority of sustainability, the Eagle Town Council adopted a resolution to achieve net zero carbon emissions in town operations by 2028, and to also achieve net zero carbon emissions in the Eagle community by 2030.

Town staff has developed and continues to refine an action plan to achieve the town's 2028 goal. The Adam Palmer Sustainability Fund collaborated with the town to develop the Net Zero Action Plan for the Eagle community, which outlines a pathway to achieving net zero by 2030.

Partnership with the Adam Palmer Sustainability Fund

The Town has partnered with the Adam Palmer Sustainability Fund to further our net zero initiatives. As a non-profit partner, the Palmer Fund can enhance what the town is able to accomplish in this space by fundraising and dispersing of funds in service of the goals.

The Adam Palmer Sustainability Fund has also convened a Sustainability Advisory Committee, comprised of Eagle residents with a keen eye on our net zero goals. This group will select community projects for funding to recommend to Town Council. Committee members also serve as ambassadors of the net zero goals, ready to help you generate projects for which you can apply for funding.
