[ARCHIVED] Employment Opportunity - Public Works – Water and Wastewater

The Town of Eagle has a full-time opening in Public Works.  Primary assignment is in water distribution and wastewater collection.  Duties include routine main flushing, pump and motor repairs, cleaning main blockages, installing taps, meter reading, fixing water leaks, etc.  May also perform a variety of routine and special activities for maintenance within the Public Works Department as conditions warrant.

Hiring Range:  $17.21- $20.65/hour, DOE (depending on experience). *
*The maximum of the pay range is $24.09/hr.  A hire rate over the hiring range may be considered based on the candidate’s qualifications, certifications and experience.

Requirements:
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Must possess a valid Colorado driver license.  
•Requires successful completion of a MVR and criminal background check.
•CDL Class “B” license or higher within one year of hire date; Drug testing protocol required for CDL license
•Interest to obtain certifications - System Operator I, possess Water Distribution I and Wastewater Collection I Certification
