The town will host an open house from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 at the Eagle Town Hall to share information about upcoming pedestrian and cyclist improvements to Sylvan Lake Road. The work will take place this summer and include:
- Improved access to nearby, shops, restaurants, schools and more
- New sidewalks and bike lanes
- Slower traffic speeds through traffic calming features such as curb extensions to reduce roadway widths
- Easier crossing at intersections with flashing beacons
