The town of Eagle will begin its 2024 Street Resurfacing Project this month, targeting areas for extensive resurfacing. These areas include Chambers Avenue and Marmot Lane, where the process will involve milling the top layer of the surface, cleaning the roadway, patching and repaving. Additionally, Sylvan Lake Road and Capitol Street will receive asphalt patching in select locations. Utility and street paving work on Howard Street and Fourth Street is also scheduled this summer.
Projects Beginning June 17
- Chambers Avenue: Repaving the roadway from the Eby Creek Roundabout to 1050 Chambers Avenue. Work is anticipated to be completed June 22.
- Howard Street and Fourth Street: Utility replacement and street repaving projects will begin with equipment and material deliveries the week of June 10. This project will have a longer duration and extend into the fall.
Work on the other locations will continue throughout the summer. Motorists and pedestrians should expect detours and single-lane roads during the construction period, with varying impacts depending on the location.
Updates will be shared on townofeagle.org or the town’s Facebook page.
