Current Water Restrictions
STAGE 3 IN EFFECT: Water Shortage Warning:
Stage 3, Water Restrictions apply to all users. The following mandatory restrictions shall apply.
- Water irrigation days shall be reduced from three (3) days per week to two (2) days per week.
- Irrigation (including lawn watering) is restricted to occur between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m.
- Residential irrigation is restricted to even numbered addresses on Tuesday and Saturday. Odd numbered addresses are restricted to irrigating on Wednesday and Sunday.
- Spas (hot tubs) in excess of 700 gallons and swimming pools will be allowed only one fill within the period beginning when the Stage 3, Water Shortage Warning has been declared and ending on October 15th.
- Residential car, boat, RV, etc. washing shall be prohibited.
- All washing of pavement, driveways, sidewalks etc. shall be prohibited.
- Hand watering of lawns, gardens and planting areas can be performed on the prescribed ODD/EVEN days. All hand watering devices shall have flow control assemblies

Schools, parks, government, commercial, churches, and industrial sites are allowed to water/irrigate on Mondays and Fridays.

Landscape Deferral Policy: This applies to a development application or building permit approved or issued after June 19, 2026, or a project with an active permit with required landscape installation that has not commenced grass seed or sod installation before June 19, 2026.
- Due to water use restrictions all grass seed or sod may only be irrigated in accordance with the day of the week restrictions that apply to all Town of Eagle water customers. The exemption allowing daily irrigation of newly installed grass seed or sod is suspended. Landscaping required to be installed with new or active permits that requires irrigation can be deferred until water restrictions are lifted or the timeline in the Performance Guarantee Agreement.
- A Temporary Certificate of Occupancy will be issued, with the condition that the landscaping be completed prior to a final Certificate of Occupancy
- A Performance Guarantee Agreement must be completed and executed prior to the issuance of a building permit
- All work must be completed within the warranty period defined in the Performance Guarantee Agreement.
